The Grands Chais de France (GCF Group) was founded in 1979 with a major cognac agenda which later expanded to the wine industry. In 1984, the company’s main wine brand J.P Chenet was born, which over the years became the world’s best-selling French wine brand. Other popular brands are Arthur Metz, Baron D’Arigniac and more. The corporation has approximately 2,200 employees spread throughout France with a headquarters in Alsace. In recent years, the corporation has crossed the profit threshold of $ 980 million, with 75% of its production exported to more than 165 countries worldwide.
