Menton, a small town in the south of France, is the legendary lemon-growing region of Europe. Menton lemons are larger and thicker-skinned than their western counterparts. These irregularly shped lemons are milder and less acidic. The thicker peels yield higher levels of essential oil, making Menton lemons the favourite of respected French Chefs.
